Three defeats in three for Coach Arthur’s Kisumu All Stars

AFC Leopards arrived at Moi Stadium Kisumu in the midst of a two-game Premier League winning streak and they were the favorites heading into the clash. First half brilliant solo goal by Vincent Oburu and second half sublime header by the league top scorer John Mark Makwatta. Despite Blue Eagles going down to AFC Leopards goalkeeper Geoffrey Were put on some brilliant saves denying Makwata penalties and several textbook saves to make the scoreline respectable.

All Stars will face struggling Kariobangi Sharks in their next duel. Western Stima saw their poor away record continue. It was a cagey opening few minutes for Salim Babu’s men as the bankers piled on the pressure from the opening whistle. The first chance fell to KCB and experienced Enock Agwanda opened the scoring Reagan Otieno doubled the lead and Simon Munala hit the last nail to condemn Western Stima to second consecutive defeat .

Oromchan Villa converted from the spot in the second half but the damage was already done.
