Gor Mahia skipper Kenneth Muguna has revealed why he opted to remain at Gor Mahia despite interest from Other Clubs.
The Kenyan International has emerged as one of the club’s most consistent performers in recent seasons, with Nkana of Zambia having been strongly linked with a move to rope in the midfielder.
Despite the speculation Muguna insists he remains happy at the club, and says he never thought about leaving as he looks to fulfil his ambitions of bringing titles at Gor Mahia
“There was a lot of writing about it. But for me I have a contract with Gor Mahia and I am loyal to the club. I like it very much, this wasn’t the best time to leave the club especially during the tough economic situation we endured” said Muguna.
The playmaker went ahead to reveal his love for Gor Mahia.
“I love to represent Gor Mahia and to wear the Green and white Jersey every day. My ambition when I returned was to win titles”
Muguna has so far registered five goals and eight assists with Gor Mahia placed second in the log having accumulated a total of 35 points, 2 points shy the league leaders with having two matches at hand.
