Bertha Omita controls the ball against Vihiga Queens on Sunday

Kisumu All Starlets had a tough outing against defending champions Vihiga Queens. Starlets, who headed into the Sunday tie with a few key players out, welcomed back Bertha Omita and Airo Mercy from the national team but found little going for them against defending champions Vihiga Queens. Coach Juma Saidi’s charges, however, put up a valiant fight to the end. They sit 5th on the Premier League table standings.
