Sony Sugar head coach Patrick Odhiambo has officially joined Gor Mahia FC today- Tuesday 25th, this is according to a statement from the Kenyan Premier League champions’ official website.
Patrick, who led Sony Sugar FC to a 5th place finish in the KPL 2018-19 season, joins the technical unit of Gor Mahia on a two-year contract.
Gor Mahia FC chairman Mr. Ambrose Rachier has hailed the addition of the former Agro Chemical and Chemelil Sugar FC coach.
”We are very happy that he agreed to join us at Gor Mahia and hope to reach greater heights together. He is a qualified and capable coach and we were impressed by the work he as done elsewhere so among the many coaches who were interested in the job we settled on him,” Rachier is quoted by the club’s official website.
Odhiambo- a defender with Chemelil Sugar in his playing days, also groomed a few Kenyan Premier League players during his time at Kisumu Day High School.
His first assignment with the club will be CECAFA Club Championships.
