Kisumu Hot Stars win big as All-stars, Stima drop points

Division one side Kisumu Hot Stars produced a ruthless display to register their first win of the second leg with a thumping win over visiting Bondo United. 


George Mapesa scored four goals to take his tally to eight goals. Charles Adika opened the scoring with a beautiful low shot well struck at the edge of the box and minutes later George Ade tucked in a Billy Byron’s cross.

The home side would put five goals in the second half to register a 7-1 scoreline.


National Super League side Kisumu All-stars shared the spoils with Taxmen Ushuru FC, in a hotly contested match, the home side would have opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a well struck free kick by Shadrack Omondi but Robert Owita in goal for Ushuru parried the shot away for a corner kick.

The visitors had their first attempt which was ruled out for offside by the assistant referee, both sides attempts could find the net and they settled for a draw Kisumu All-stars are now second placed with 64 points, they will face Coast Stima on Friday before traveling to Modern Coast Rangers.


In the Kenya Premier League, Allan Wanga and Maxwell Ravel scored a goal apiece to condemn western Stima to their 11th defeat of the season.
