National Super League table-toppers Kisumu All Stars will play host to Eldoret Youth FC in a second-tier match set to be played at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu from 3 pm on Wednesday 1st May.
All Stars are on the back of a morale-boosting 2-1 win over Shabana FC in Kisii and currently lead the NSL with 60 points from 29 matches. A win ensures they stay top of the division and keeps promotion hopes alive.
Western Stima FC, on the other hand, are not playing at home on Labour Day and will be hosted by bottom of the log Mount Kenya United FC at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
Stima’s new coach Salim Babu will be on the touchline for the second time having seen his first match end in defeat against Sony Sugar FC over the weekend.
The Kisumu based Kenyan Premier League side currently sits at position 14th on the KPL log and have gone 12 matches without a win. They, however, face a Mount Kenya side that has just recorded a rare win against Zoo Kericho FC.
Chemelil Sugar are at home to Kariobangi Sharks who are facing the same challenge as Western Stima, a winless streak and coach Francis Baraza’s team will have to be cautious as they take on the Nairobi side from 1 pm at the Chemelil Sports Complex.
The Western Stima versus Mount Kenya United match meanwhile, will kick-off from 2 pm.
